The same year Anushka Sharma was seen in the movie 'Band Baaja Baaraat' along with Ranveer Singh, in which she played an upper-middle class Punjabi girl who starts her own wedding planning business. The film received a positive review. The contract of Anushka's for three films under Yash Raj Films was completed with Band Baaja Baaraat.
